The 1992 Mitsubishi Diamante typically requires 10W-30 motor oil for optimal performance. However, it’s always best to consult the owner’s manual for specific recommendations, as oil viscosity can vary based on climate and driving conditions. Using the correct oil ensures proper lubrication and engine longevity.
A 1992 Mitsubishi Diamante with a SOHC engine typically requires about 4.5 quarts of oil when using a filter change. It's always a good idea to check the owner's manual for the specific model and engine type to confirm the exact capacity, as variations may exist.
I have a 92 Diamante Wagon. And the drain plug on my car is on the bottom left (driver side). You need a 22mm socket wrench to open it. Hope that helps.
2.85 quarts
either, but id use oil. God Bless
The oil pressure switch should be above the oil filter on the back of the engine on a 2.2L.
80/85 weight
Originaly the 92 accord called for a 5-20 oil but at your current age I would recomend using at least a 10-30 but not sythetic
If your 92 Grand Prix is running hot you probably need to check the oil. If the oil is OK you should check the water and add water if needed.
Manual says to use SAE 75w-90 or SAE 80w-90 gear oil
