You can convert manual to power steering on a 1969 Camaro. the steering box will need to be changed, and a pump and brackets as well as fluid lines will need to be added.
Yes.It can be converted . You will need to install a power assisted steering rack, power steering pump, belts and hoses.
Yes you can, But you need a lot of parts. You will need to go to a junk yard and get the power steering pump and hoses, and the power steering arm under the front of the truck. That would be the cheapest way. your buy it all new then have some one install it all.
Rent or buy power steering puller/installer from parts store. you will need to make sure it is a REMOVER and INSTALLER
Yes you can install power steering. I have installed it in my 84 pickup. You will need the power steering box and the gear box with hoses. I pulled them off a pickup at a wrecking yard, which is best, since everything is already there and you can see how it is setup.
Add the pump/steering box pullys and belt. linkages will line up fine.
i need a parts break down on a 4t60e transmision ,flow chart of parts in correct order
I need more information
You either need power streering fluid or a power steering belt.
You need a special puller for the power steering pump pulley. With out the tool you cannot remove retaining the bolts. Check your local parts house, they usually have a kit in stock.
You may use power steering fluid or Dexron transmission fluid. Both available at your local auto parts. =================================================================================== Also , the 1997 Ford Crown Victoria owners manual shows Motorcraft MERCON automatic transmission fluid is used in the power steering
On newer corsas the power steering is all Electronic so it doesn't need power steering fluid.
