It takes ATF the only thing you need to decide it regular ATF or Synthetic ATF. I recommend The Synthetic ATF. Hope This Helps.
I say it will take 12Qts. That's the manufactures specs. It is a G.M. supply source.
If the transmission is electronically controlled - Dexron III, and if manually controlled - Dexron II. If there is no 'dip stick' for testing the fluid level, then the transmission is probably electronic control.
If you didn't use dexron III transmission fluid, this may indicate the reason for the flashing light. Another reason is either too much or too little fluid. My best advice is to take the car to a transmission specialist. Really, changing the transmission fluid in a Daewoo is not something that should be attempted by anyone but a specialist.
If it has automatic transmission, it takes transmission fluid.

Automatic transmission fluid is used for both Manual and automatic transmissions. Manuals take 2.5quarts and automatics take 4.5 quarts.

Valvoline® - Automatic Transmission Fluid
ATF for Automatic transmission.
There is none for an automatic transmission. You will have to drop (take off) the transmission fluid pan to drain it.
