97 park ave has four wheel disc brakes, not drum brakes
jack the car up. remove the lug nuts on the wheel and remove the wheel. remove the bolts on the back of the caliper. remove the brake line and have something to catch the brake fluid that's going to pour/drip out. the caliper should pop off of the rotor after that. on the rear you will need to remove the ebrake line.
kneeling down in the back of the car, pry the lever attached to the ebrake cable with a screwdriver on either caliper. just did this 1 hour ago on my car
Rear Rotor Removal. remove wheel. Remove the 14mm bolt holding the e brake "L" shaped hanger before the caliper, pry ebrake arm forward and remove cable end from ebrake arm locate the 12mm bolt on the right hand side of the caliper, remove bolt swing caliper upwards to ensure looseness. locate 2 17mm bolts holding brake caliper bracket to hub assembly, remove bolts. locate 10mm bolt holding brake line to strut, remove. lift brake caliper off wheel assembly careful to not hang weight by brake line. pull rotor off of the wheel studs. to re assemble repeat steps in reverse. paxin@yahoo.com
In some cases you can disconnect the plug on the ebrake switch. I was able to access it by pulling back on the ebrake side cover.

Set Ebrake Jack up car Remove Lugnuts 3/4" Remove Wheel Remove Brake Caliper (2 10mm Bolts) Beat with BFH (If you do NOT plan on reusing) Beat with dead blow if you wish to keep. the wire needs ground to function. Connecting it to the ebrake allows it to ground so just connect the video wire to any ground and it will function as if it was connected to the ebrake
press your ebrake one or two clicks and leave it on
usually this is done at the ebrake itself. there are two wires going to it.
put in reverse and go about 5 then slam it into drive and gas it to the floor or u can use the ebrake and go half way so you dont burn out the transmission and make sure that your ebrake is fully tightened other wise it wont work
