The correct amount of oil needed is 4.75 quarts.
The owners manual states 4.25 quarts with the filter changed. Although 3.5 quarts usually gets me to the max mark when I change my oil (same car - 06 kia spectra 2.0).
The 2008 Kia Spectra typically uses 5W-20 or 5W-30 motor oil, depending on the engine type and local climate conditions. It's essential to check the owner's manual for the manufacturer's specific recommendations. Additionally, using an API-certified oil will help ensure optimal engine performance and longevity.
For a Kia Spectra, the recommended oil weight is typically 5W-20 or 5W-30, depending on the engine type and the climate conditions. Always refer to the owner's manual for the specific model year for the most accurate information. It's important to use oil that meets the API (American Petroleum Institute) standards for optimal engine performance.
Throw the car away and get another one.
