I live on a slab (no basement) my air filter is inserted at the very top of the furnace almost close to the ceiling so should the arrow on my air filter be pointing up to the ceiling or down to the engine of the furnace?
The arrow on the filter should point toward the furnace/airhandler, whichever you have, or in other words with the direction of the airflow.
The furnace filter should face in the direction that allows air to flow through it easily, typically with the arrows on the filter pointing towards the furnace. This ensures proper airflow and efficiency.
The air filter unit is situated on top of the engine, so locate this unit in the vehicle. Remove the air filter cover by undoing the fasteners that keep it attached. Be sure to keep the fasteners so that the cover can be reattached later. Remove the old air filter. Clean the air filter housing. Discard the old filter and place the new filter inside the car. Replace the cover over the new air filter, being sure to replace all the fasteners. The filter should be changed every 30,000 miles, or about once a year.
The air conditioning filter on a Kenworth T800 is located in one of two places. It is either located near the unit itself, in a slide out drawer under the unit. The filter can also be at the drop down air return ducts. There should be a filter in one location only.
face
located behind the glove box. It is a filter that cleans the cabin air or the fresh air from the outside before it goes through the environment unit or the a/c heating unit. this prevents 2 things, 1 dirt build up on unit it's self and cleans the air from dust thusly keeping the interior cleaner and allergins down. should be replace every time the engine air filter is replaced or serviced.
Its below the air unit , remove filter air unit and ooops ther it is.
It Has An Orifice Filter & A Filter Dryer, But These Are Not Changed As If You Would An Air Or Oil Filter.
It's possible.
the fins will face away from the throttle body or manifold air intake
The arrow on a furnace filter indicates the direction of airflow, showing which side should face towards the furnace. The air should flow in the direction that the arrow is pointing when the filter is inserted.
Arrow on filter toward furnace or inline with air flow.
