i had my escape at a local shop thought it was a rear end problem's sent it to ford and they couldn't find anything wrong. it has a loud roaring sound in the front end and only has 32000 miles. then a ford rep called my local guy and he told me that it was the factory tires on the escape. advised me to change to a softer compound tire with a good noise rating. going today to look for some tires i will let you know. hope it helps.

if there's a Lot of vibration its most likely wheel or running gear related, firstly is there any noise? noise on one side whilst turning can be a few things but are most commonly a wheel bearing or a CV joint if there is no noise, it could be something minimal like the wheel balancing, or un-tightened wheel nuts? have u checked them?
