Exhaust of an engine is a gas.
You have a problem with your carburator. Have it looked at
incorrect engine timing so that it misfires
potato with in whistle in it, jammed into the exhaust pipe?
I know the white smoke would be caused by coolant, which would be leaking into the combustion chamber.
yes nd it will also give of a oily smell with it
Possibly a worn engine and/or gearbox mounting or exhaust mounting
check vacume hoses replace any crack ones
No, white exhaust smoke is a symptom of coolant entering the combustion chamber. You my have a blown head gasket.
gas
If it's a gas tank then that is possible.
in some cases if the exhaust is rubbing on the gas tank most new vehicles have poly plastic tanks and most of them have heat shields covering the exhast older vehicles have steel gas tanks
If its smells like gas, you are putting too much gas in the engine and some is unburnt and going out the exhaust. Exhaust underneath means there is a leak in the system somewhere. If there is no louder noise or hissing, I would expect the catalytic converter is leaking. Have it checked and get a tune up. http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?UseCase=S001&UserAction=viewSimpleDiagInfo&Parameters=info answer bad exhaust pipe
