You probably have a stuck horn relay. Check your fuse panel for a relay for the horn and change it.
there is no relay for this. you just need to replace the switch. I had this happen to me, took me three days to figure it out.
The relay could be bad, but more than likely the motor has died. The relay would still click, but nothing would happen.
The flux capacitor will overload and you will fail to reach 88 mph.
nothing, the starter will not engage, and the voltage bypass to the coil will not be energized.
If you mean the relay that controls the starter motor then it is fairly simple. There are 2 possible faults. 1) The relay is working, but is broken or burned out internally. You will hear a click from the engine bay when the key is turned but the starter motor will not do anything, not even engage. 2) The relay is broken. In this case nothing at all will happen when the key is turned.
In the event of a busbar fault, the next level of protection will operate and disconnect the busbars.
I had a main relay go bad on my old accord some years back. If I remember correctly, nothing would happen when I turned the ignition key. After waiting a little while for the relay to cool, the car would start just fine. I found a replacement relay on the internet at a good price and everything went well.
Relay sounds faulty. Also, is your relay accuated when you open the door? If this is the case, a switch could also be the culprit, but relay is still the most likely problem. I don't know about your year model, but the relays are most likely located in the engine compartment within a plastic compartment with a lid, like a big fuse box. Pump relay is above the fuses below the dash, to the left of the steering wheel. Relay has 167 printed on it.
