Filter drier is used in an A/C system to take moisture out of the system. It is installed on the liquid line.
A liquid line drier used in heat pumps is typically a filter drier that contains desiccants to remove moisture and contaminants from the refrigerant flowing through the system. It helps protect the system components from damage and improves the efficiency of the heat pump by ensuring proper refrigerant flow.
The type we used to use on the job, had filter material inside of it which would flow down the suction line if you reversed it. It was made to only filter in the specified flow direction.
A filter drier for a cooling only condensing unit will have an arrow pointing in one direction. This is because the refrigerant that passes through it will always flow in the same direction. A heat pump filter drier must have the ability to allow the refrigerant to flow through it in either direction and so a filter drier that is made for a heat pump will have two arrows pointing in opposite directions.
drier couse when we have vapor air is wet and when we lost it makes air drier.
It has what is called a receiver drier........ It does not have a cabin filter.
E
Trash it.
low pressure input side, but it really does not matter, because you have to pour in approx. 2 oz. of a/c pag or ester oil in there. That is if your refurring to an air conditioner unit.
its under the heating swicth
Low side service port should be next to or around the left front or passenger strut tower. Or around the filter drier.
Yes, there is virtually no liquid on the surface of the moon.
