Check the petal and make sure that the plastic part that touches the brake light switch when the petal is in contact with the brake light switch is still on the petal, if it is missing you will need to replace it, so the petal will make correct contact with the brake light switch.

Brake Pedal Goes to the Floor After BleedingAlthough there could be more than one reason, I suspect that even though you may have bled the brake system, AND the brake fluid reservoir is full, your brake bleeding was not successful, and you STILL HAVE AIR IN THE BRAKE LINES, or in the wheel brake slave cylinders.
You need to bleed the brakes.
My 1998 Malibu had the same problem. The reason that it is on is because your brake sensor is located in your wheel bearing, and most likely your wheel bearing is worn out. I replaced both front wheel bearings and the ABS light is no longer on.

Answer to brake light promblemI don't think it should, check your fuse, it should be in the car in the fuse panel, it should be a yellow 15 fuse. try to replace it, if it still don't work, cheak for losse bulbs, wires, brake switch (on the brake petal ) etc...It's more than likely a loose fuse or broken brake switch.
When you hold pressure on the brake pedal at a stop light and the pedal slowly drops to the floor and the brake fluid reservoir still remains full, the master is bad.
did you bleed brake master if you did check brake hoses see if they move when pushing pedal down if it has rear brake drums see if wheel cylinders are leaking rear shoes could be out of adjustment
The plant will stay alive but the petal will die.
