Yes. In some cars it does.
the clutch on your A/C compressor needs to be replaced.
Look at your AC pump, and start your motor and turn on your AC. Listen for the clicking coming from the pump. That is you clutch cycling on and off for the AC. If that is the noise you are hearing then your good to go. If not then you will have to look else where, BUT BE CAREFUL when the engine is running.
when i turn on the ac in my 2000 honda civic it makes a loud noise when the fan is working what could that be ?
Get ready ... your blend door for your heat/ac is about to break. Pray it stops on AC if you live in a hot climate. Or, take it to an AC shop and have them replace it before it totally breaks.
Check the belt on the ac compressor of the 2004 Navigator. It sounds like the belt is slipping when the ac first comes on.
Well if it makes noise maybe the manufacturer messed up while putting the part on which meens you should have it replaced or fixed!
You probably need a new air filter for your a/c The clicking is probably caused by the clutch on the compressor. If the Ac isn't charged enough it could cause this to kick the compressor off and on. You compressor could also be bad. You werent real clear what the problem was. Hope this helps.
Temperature control in dash by heater core is broke.
heat/ac actuator
the ac belt or the compressor bearings are going bad
you may have leaves in the fan
If by motor you mean the engine. If the car is running and it's not making much noise turn in the a/c in the car and if the noise gets worse I would replace your air conditioning pp
