When you use your turn signal, it illuminates the indicator lights on your vehicle, typically located on the front and rear sides. These lights blink on and off to signal to other drivers your intention to turn or change lanes. In some vehicles, the dashboard may also display a corresponding indicator light to alert the driver. The purpose is to enhance safety by clearly communicating your driving intentions.
