There is not an official list of all search engines. When the WWW was first getting started it was very easy to keep track of a half-dozen. There are hundreds of thousands now and most of them are lost in the deep web. Many great projects may never be located again unless the owners of them choose to bring them forward. Very many search engines exist today. The most common are Google, Yahoo! and Bing. It would be very difficult to list every single browser out there so there will probably not be anywhere where a complete list can be found.
