You can go to a junk yard and hope you can find a good one or you can go to a Chevy dealer and have them order you 1.
No, because the transmission control module and speedometer will not line up, so it will not work.
Automatic transmission dip stick is found in back of the engine, passenger side.
In my 2000, it is under the truck slightly behind where the driver's seat is
That would be the 4L60E transmission. There is ONLY 2 years that will work in that truck and they are 1996 and 1997
No, a 1994 Chevrolet crossmember will not fit on a 1969 Chevrolet pickup.
where is fuel filter loc on 1995 chev 1500 pickup and what does it loo like
new chev keys can be obtained from chev by providing them with you VIN number
how u take off a transmission speed control sensor on a 1996 chev lumina
If it is a 1/2 ton then it will be the 4L60E. The 3/4 tons used the 4L80E in them. The only transmission that will work in that 96 model is a 1996 model transmission.
i dont know what type of transmission you have but i had mine done in a 1999 dodge caravan with overdrive and it cost me 1200.00 dollars. that depends what is wrong with it but a ford pickup transmission will cost about 2000 dollars, dodge and chev are higher
NO. The 1996 and 1997 4L60E transmissions will not interchange with anything. If you own a 96 or 97 model then IT MUST HAVE THAT YEAR TRANSMISSION PUT BACK IN IT.
Built into the alternator.
