To hook up the dimmer wire on your Pioneer stereo in a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant, locate the dimmer wire from the car's wiring harness, usually a light green or gray wire. Connect this wire to the corresponding dimmer input on the Pioneer stereo, typically labeled as "Dimmer" or "Illumination." Ensure that the connections are secure and insulated to prevent any short circuits. Finally, test the dimmer function to confirm it's working correctly.
