Fuel lines in vehicles are routed from the tank (usually back in the back) along the undercarriage or frame to the engine compartment. The place to begin looking is along the bottom of the firewall. The line will be a steel tube, but don't confuse it with a brake line.
Underneath your Explorer, on the driver's side, in the frame rail - from the fuel tank to the engine compartment/engine.
In the fuel line. Trace it from the engine to the tank. LOCATED IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON THE LOWER LEFT SIDE.
Cars needs a fuel filter to ensure that minute particles of dirt and grime that may enter your fuel system do not follow the fuel line into the engine. The filter protects the engine.
If it's a 4 cyl the fuel filter is located on the drivers side of the engine compartment near the firewall. It is a cylinder with a fuel line coming in and going out of it.
I know that on a 1995 it is located in the rear driver's side of the engine compartment. Although if you just follow the fuel line (it should have a flow arrow on it) from the engine block out it will run into the fuel filter.
Fuel pump is in the fuel tank, the filter, if fitted, is in-line, usually a grey cylinder in the engine compartment.
On a 1974 Super Beetle, the fuel line runs from the fuel tank located in the front of the car, along the body, and down to the engine compartment at the rear. It typically follows the left side of the vehicle and connects to the fuel pump. Be sure to check for any wear or leaks along this line, especially at the connections to the tank and engine.
The fuel line on a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero runs from the fuel tank to the engine compartment. It is typically located along the underside of the vehicle, protected by the chassis, and can be accessed by lifting the car safely on jack stands. The fuel line connects to the fuel pump in the tank and leads to the fuel rail on the engine. If you're inspecting or servicing it, ensure that the vehicle is turned off and depressurized to prevent fuel spillage.
The 1987 Ford Bronco typically has two fuel filters: one located in the fuel line near the fuel tank and another in the engine compartment, often integrated into the fuel line or located near the carburetor. It's important to check both filters during maintenance to ensure optimal fuel flow and engine performance.
It is a the left rear of the engine compartment just as the fuel line goes back to the tank.
the fuel like does not enter the engine it feeds into the fuel rail located just above the intake manifold. its easy to see the fuel rail, its right above the area where the intake meets the cylinder head. the fuel like runs back down the passenger side of the vehicle.
Fuel is pumped up the fuel line by means of the fuel pump and enters the fuel injectors through the fuel rail where the fuel-injectors shoot the fuel into the cylinders according to which cycle the motor is on.
