It goes on the fuel inlet of the carb. Without knowing the exact carburetor you are referring to that is really the only answer I can give.
On a Lippon carburetor, the fuel lines typically connect to the fuel inlet and outlet ports. The fuel inlet line delivers fuel from the tank to the carburetor, usually connecting to the main body of the carburetor. The outlet line may lead to the engine or other components as needed. Ensure that the connections are secure to prevent leaks and maintain proper fuel flow.
The location of the fuel filter depends on where the carburetor is mounted. If the carburetor is mounted directly atop the fuel tank, the filter is located within the tank at the end of the hose that attaches to the carburetor. The carburetor has to be removed to access the fuel filter. If the carburetor is not mounted to the fuel tank and the fuel is "gravity-fed" to the carburetor, the filter is usually an in-line filter located somewhere on the fuel line between the tank and the carburetor.
The location of the fuel line depends on where the carburetor is mounted. If the carb is mounted directly on top of the fuel tank, the fuel "line" is the pickup tube that extends from the carburetor into the tank. The carburetor will have to be removed to get to the pickup tube. If the carb is mounted away from the fuel tank, the fuel line will come from the tank.
If it has a Rochester carburetor (like the quadrajet) it is actually located inside the carburetor where the fuel line attaches to the carburetor. To access it, remove the fuel line then remove the filter housing by loosening the large hex bolt you just removed the fuel line from.
The fuel filter should be right in the carburetor, remove the fuel line nut and the line (or clamp and hose). There is a larger nut that the fuel line goes into, that is your fuel filter. Just unscrew it from the carburetor There maybe a in-line filter as well, it will be between the fuel pump on the engine (lower drivers side of block on v8) and the carburetor.
The position of the fuel filter depends on what type of fuel tank to carburetor system your mower uses. If the carburetor is mounted directly on the tank, the filter is located within the tank at the end of the carburetor pickup line. If the carburetor is mounted separate from the tank, the filter is usually on the fuel line somewhere between the tank and the carburetor.
In the carburetor where the fuel line enters.
A 1995 Dodge 1500 doesn't have a carburetor. It has a throttle body. A fuel line does not connect to the throttle body. The fuel is supplied to fuel injectors via a fuel rail.
If your engine has a carburetor the filter is in the supply line into the carburetor. If your engine is fuel injected the filter is right next to the gas tank in the fuel line.
If in fact you have a carburetor, the fuel line comes from the fuel pump. Give us info like the year, make, model and engine for more info.
if it is a rochester carburetor, it is inside the carburetor just behind where the fuel line screws into it.
