First, you need to pin down which sensor you're talking about: the one used by the dashboard, or the one used by the computer.
One of them is on the thermostat. I'm not sure which of the two it is. But you can find the thermostat by following the big hoses from the radiator, and then look for an electrical plug... this drawing shows what it looks like on one of the engines:

The other one may be screwed into the upper part of the radiator, I'm not sure. It may be that one which drives the dashboard indicator.
There is a coolant temperature sensor and a temperature gauge sensor. the coolant sensor is located on driver side of the cylinder head. screws right into it, and the temperature gauge sensor is on the front side of the cylinder head right under the distributor. hope this helps
On a 2006 Mazda 3, the temperature sensor, specifically the coolant temperature sensor, is typically located near the thermostat housing on the engine. It is usually positioned on the engine block, near the cylinder head, and can be accessed from the top or side of the engine. For precise identification, it's recommended to refer to the vehicle's service manual or a repair guide.
1. The Mazda three did not exist in 1995 2. The coolant temperature sensor is probably bad
The coolant temperature sensor on a Mazda 3 is typically located near the thermostat housing, which is usually found at the engine's front or top. In most models, it can be accessed by lifting the hood and looking for a small sensor with an electrical connector attached to it. Depending on the specific model year, it may be necessary to remove some components for better access. Always refer to your vehicle's service manual for precise location details.
The Coolant Temperature Sensor is located right between the # 1 and 3 spark plugs (they are on the drivers side the two most forward plugs).
hey i don't find where I can plug my temperature outside ?
On a Mazda 3, the coolant temperature sensor is typically located near the engine, often near the thermostat housing or on the engine block. It may vary slightly depending on the model year and engine type. To access it, you might need to remove any engine covers or components obstructing the view. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for the most accurate information specific to your model.
3/4 inch
It is attached to the lower grill on the front bumper.
A three prong coolant temperature sensor is an automotive part. These can be bought at any automotive part shop, or general shop the sells car parts.Ê
The intake air temperature sensor is located on the mass air flow sensor on the intake. There are five wires attached to the sensor.
look under the throttle body on the front of the engine there s a sensor with 3 wires going to it that is the engine coolant temperature sensor
