First you can not buy at local auto supply it is a special order at dealer. It is located in the fuel tank on the side of the pump. Disconnect battery .- side Here is the easiest way I found to replace. No need to drop tank there is a access to pump.underneath rear seat passenger side. Remove 4 screws lift up an disconnect 2 electrical connections then put panel to side. Disconnect fuel lines some gas will come out maybe a couple of ounces have rag ready. Take off rubber ring with a screw driver loose ring (counter clockwise) lay into it don,t be afraid to lay into it. Cairefully remove pump. You will see sensor on side of pump. Pop off sensor trace wires disconnect as you go along release 3 clips wires go inside pump. Reconnect wires . Macke sure th sensor wire is plugged in to inside outlet calrefully replace pump in reverse order. Sounds like a lot of wor k but.it,s better than having to drope tank Steve B
The Kia Sorento's CO2 sensor, also known as the cabin air quality sensor, is typically located in the vehicle's HVAC system, often near the air intake or within the cabin air filter housing. The fuel temperature sensor, on the other hand, is generally found in the fuel rail or near the engine's fuel system components. For specific locations, it's best to refer to the vehicle's service manual or consult a professional mechanic.
