On 2005 Yamaha YZF-R6 the headlight fuse is on the clutch/shifter (left) side under the top fairing cover (the part that covers the wires/cables/and air intake on the top part of the uppermost fairing) its a little black box full of your light and signal fuses. The headlight one itself is labeled as 'Head' and is a 20 Amp 1/4 Sized Yellow fuse, there should be a spare in the same box if not go pick some up from any auto parts store -Swkneedragger.
