it depends on a lot of different things could be a bad or old hose or crank case pressure due to a cracked head,or a hole in a piston.

There is no oil in the crank case,,you use mixed gas and oil that's what lubes the crank bearings and piston rings.
as the pistons go up and down, and the temperature changes the air in a crank case has to go somewhere. that is what the vent is for

no were. don't know for sure, but i would say that it a drain hose. if some thing is wrong with the crank case ventilation system oil will come out the top hose into the box and drain out. it may also prevent water form getting into the crankcase. but i can't say for absolute sure.
