The throttle position sensor is on the driver-side of the throttle-body. Also check your hotwire module on the back of the throttle body. For some reason they tend to go out together. Its a dealer only part OEM 16078-12g00 and costs $350. I just converted my 88 pathfinder, which bar the vg30i engine with 5 speed transmission to a 2 barrel holly carburetor, I got sick of hearing that part has been discontinued, or thats a dealer only part, and hunting for months to find working used parts. Like the idle-air control valve, no longer made by Nissan and no where else makes it aftermarket. The pre-heater is an $1800 dealer only part.
Just needed a fuel regulator for a 94 blazer, and was good to go. After fighting that truck for years during the winter-time, it finally runs great and I can easily find parts now.
