On a 1995 Chevy Silverado, the actuator is typically located on the transfer case for four-wheel drive models or may be found in the door panel for power door locks or window controls, depending on the specific application. For the four-wheel drive system, it's usually mounted on the transfer case itself, which is located underneath the vehicle. If you're referring to a different actuator, such as for the HVAC system, it may be located under the dashboard. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for the precise location based on your specific model and configuration.
On my 1993 K1500 Silverado, it is behind the heater/ac blower assy. However, I can not find any info on how to get the assy apart, or where it is connected to the dash switch.
I have 1999 chevy Silverado z71 wanting to see if a 1994-95 chevy Silverado z71 bed will fit
NO it don't. The actuator is up on the front axel housing. Now the transfur case does have a switch on it that sends power to the actuator up front.
If it is working it is OK, look elswhere for your problem, the transfer case might not be engaging but i can't help you with that.
