Where is the ASD relay located on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee 2WD ?
The asd relay is located under the master cylinder close to the battery. The other relay under the master cylinder is the starter relay, but it is away from the battery. Hope that helps.

Are you sure its the relay... Does the car receive spark... if not it might be the ASD Relay located on the finder, under the hood next to the battery, its the last relay there.... the ASD Relay sends power to both coil and fuel pump, if its bad it will cause both not to work.

Could be the ASD Relay (Auto ShutDown). If that's not working it can cut power to the coil, just switch the ASD Relay and replace it with the Horn Relay and see if that restores power, if so just go and get a new ASD Relay.

in my 2001 4L jeep grand Cherokee the automatic shut down relay is located in the power distribution panel that is mounted between the fender and the battery. if it is labeled like mine it should be number 38 marked asd.
