Where is the battery on a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox?

The battery is beside the windshield wiper fluid fill in the front driver side under the hood. To access it you need to remove a single 10mm bolt on the passenger side of the computer, then slide the computer to the driver side to slpip it off two tongues that hold it in place. Voila! though if you wanted to jumpstart the vehicle you should use the dedicated post on the front driver side of the fuse box and ground to the motor.
