1. Turn off the ignition switch and ensure that the car is properly secured while performing this removal and replacement procedure. 2. Locate and remove the silencer panel beneath the dashboard on the passenger side of the vehicle. 3. After removal of the silencer panel, locate the Passenger Compartment Air Filter compartment door. Unclip the filter compartment access door and pivot the door to the side to provide access to the filter elements. This application uses TWO filter elements. 4. Remove the used Passenger Compartment Air Filter elements from the filter compartment by first pulling the front filter directly outward. Then, slide the rear filter forward and remove in the same manner. Use care to ensure that no loose debris falls into the cabin air intake system. 5. Replace both filters with fresh Passenger Compartment Air Filter elements by inserting the new filter elements into the filter compartment, one after the other. 6. Replace the cover to secure the new filter elements into position. 7. Replace the silencer panel and properly dispose of the used filter elements.
