To synchronize the key for a Nissan Micra 2012, first, sit in the car and close all doors. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position (not starting the engine) and then back to "Off" five times within 10 seconds. After the fifth turn, leave the key in the "On" position, and the key should be synchronized, indicated by the blinking of the security light. Finally, test the key to ensure it operates the locks and starts the engine.
