Take off the air filter and look to the left by the carburetor when you stand in front of the car. A metal tube (fuel line) is connected there and will be towards the front of the car (ie towards you) and, as I previously mentioned, on your left. Use a wrench to loosen the bolt that attaches the tube to the carburetor. After the tube is detached, look in the hole inside the carburetor where the fuel line was inserted and you should see a little filter, which is the one you're looking for. There could also be a fuel filter located underneath the car, check the chassis on the driver's side. There should be a small canister coming from the fuel tank to the injection system. If you are having trouble with the car starting and then dying on you, or periodically not starting at all, it could be that the fuel pump is wearing out. The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank, which would have to be removed for access.
