The fuel filter is a metal cylinder about 3 inches in diameter and about 4 1/2 inches long mounted in the fuel supply line, in front of the fuel tank. Access is from the underside of the vehicle. It is connected to the fuel line with hose clamps and it is connected to the chassis with a u-shaped metal brace or a plastic frame/carriage fixed to the chassis.
