The filter is located inside the frame under the drivers side door. Do not try and open the clamp, diconect the fuel lines and gently slide the filter out.

On a Chevy CK 1500 with a 6-cylinder engine, the thermostat is typically located on the engine block, near the top of the engine, under the housing connected to the upper radiator hose. To access it, you'll generally need to remove the thermostat housing, which is secured by bolts. Make sure to drain the coolant before attempting to replace the thermostat to avoid spills.
