The fuel filter in the 2010 Ford Escape is located inside the gas tank.
You can access it under the rear seat directly behind the drivers seat. there under that seat you will find a large rubber seal under which, is the fuel pump / fuel filter access.
Exchangeing the fuel filter alone, in not an option. You have to replace the complete fuel pump assembly which isnt feasible unless, there is a fuel pump prob.. Then you have a larger problem cause; the fuel pump costs up-ward of $400.
