The 95 F250 7.3L fuel filter is located at the top front of the engine, in the valley between the valve covers. It is very easy to change yourself (a little messy). Drain the fuel filter bowl before removing the filter. Place a large drip pan/container under the front of the engine to collect the splashing fuel! Then unscrew the lid. I recommend using a Ford Motorcraft filter part# FD4595, as they offer the best fit inside the housing without letting contaminates flow around the filter into your engine. The Motorcraft filter "snaps" into the filter housing cover. If you do not have a factory cover that allows the filter to snap-in, pick one up from your local Ford dealer (approx. $25.00). Again, this allows for the best filter fit in the housing. Always use the new gasket that comes with your filter. Wipe a little CLEAN diesel fuel on the gasket and follow the instructions enclosed in the filter box to ensure the gasket is placed properly (there is a bevel on the gasket). Best of luck!
