Look under the truck below the drivers door. There's a fuel line down there against the frame rail with the filter in it. You will need a special tool or "key" to remove it if I remember correctly.
On top of the engine
A fuel filter
On a 1989 Ford F350 with a diesel engine, the fuel filter is typically located on the driver's side of the engine bay, near the fuel injection pump. It is often mounted on the frame rail or near the engine block, making it accessible for maintenance. Be sure to consult the vehicle's service manual for specific details and diagrams for your model.
The fuel filter, on your 1993 Chevy 6.5 liter diesel engine, can be removed by turning the fuel filter to the left. The fuel filter will come off and can be replaced with a new filter.
if it is a diesel it is built in to the fuel filter that is on top of the engine. on the 7.3l there is a yellow lever on the back of the housing that you can drain the water/fuel from it
The fuel filter is located driver side on frame rail.
top front center of engine under the cover if it is still there.
On top of the engine right in the center, under the black cap which screws off, the other black cap next to it is the secondary fuel filter.
top of the engine next to the fuel filter housing,it looks like a startes solinoid
It is in the fuel linne. Follow the line from the engine to the tank.
Could be a plugged fuel filter or a plugged catalytic converter.
Either manually pump fuel from the fuel tanks to the fuel filter, or else open up the fuel filter, and pour some diesel fuel directly into it.
