On a 1996 Nissan 200SX, the fuel filter is located underneath the vehicle, along the fuel line. It is typically found on the driver's side, near the rear of the car, just before the fuel pump. To access it, you may need to lift the car and remove any protective covers. Always make sure to relieve the fuel system pressure before attempting to replace the fuel filter.
