The fuel filter on a Mitsubishi Magna/Verada 1994 is located on the engine compartment firewall next to or under the brake vacuum booster unit. Visual access can be obtained by standing on the opposite side of car and shining a light across the firewall behind the motor. The filter is a small metal canister with the fuel line connected to the top by a banjo connector and a straight screw in connection at the bottom. I have not tried physical access but once you have a visual on it, it looks simple enough.
