On the C4 coupe (petrol):
lift the back seat cushion base, remove the large round plastic seal (approximately 180mm diameter) on the body-work under the seat.
There you will find the fuel tank pipes and fuel pump fittings. To the side, just in view, you will find the FUEL FILTER held in place with a pull-to-release flexible plastic clamp. The filter hoses pull off via quick release click couplings.
