Right behind the front tire on the drivers side on the inside of the frame
Your Bronco more than likely has the canister type fuel filter.... underneth the driver seat inside the frame rail you will see, what looks like a oil filter relocation.. that's were the fuel filter is.. just slide an oil filter wrench on and turn it counter clock wise.. be ready for fuel to pour out of canister.. then just run to your local autozone and tell them you need a canister type fuel filter for you truck.. the install goes just as easy..
start simple check your fuel filter it might be clogged. if its not the fuel filter it could be your ignition control module

It's been a while since I sold mine but isn't that it on the firewall, drivers side?
i have an 86 bronco-II and my rotor cap had crack and the button had burn up. also the front fuel jet is clogged and running out of fuel. those were my problems. also the timing was out.
sounds like a fuel problem, your filter may be in need of replacment, but more probable is the fuel pump is failing, either way start with the filter as it should be changed when the pump is replaced anyway. Could be the vacuum lines going to the vacuum reservoir located under the intake. Had the same problem on an 86.
The passenger doors from an 86 Ford Bronco and an 89 Ford Bronco are generally compatible, as both models belong to the same generation (1980-1996). However, it's important to check for any differences in trim, wiring, or hardware that may have changed between the two model years. If modifications are minimal, the door should fit with little to no issues. Always verify specific part numbers or consult a professional if unsure.
