In the tank
If it is the same as the ( 1996 ) Ford Bronco : ( Relay # 2 is the fuel pump relay )
Just finished replacing fuel pump on my bronco 2 . Mine was a mechanical pump located on engine block behind and below power steering pump. Pain to get off without flex rachet extention or socket swival. Mine had NO fuel pump on it.
To replace the fuel pump on a 1988 Bronco II, first disconnect the negative battery cable and relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel filler cap and using a fuel pressure gauge. Then, lift the vehicle and support it securely, remove the fuel tank, and disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connections from the pump. Replace the old pump with the new one, reassemble the tank, and reconnect everything before lowering the vehicle and reconnecting the battery. Finally, check for leaks and ensure proper functioning.
Clogged fuel filter, defective fuel pump are 2 possibilities.
If it is the same as the ( 1996 ) Ford Bronco : In the Power Distribution Box ( which is " live " ) located in the engine compartment ( Relay # 2 is the fuel pump relay )
if this is a 2.6L V6 engine setup then there are two fuel pumps. one pump is located internaly inside the fuel tank with sender unit,it is a low pressure pump. the other one is located under the car mounted on the frame, it is a high press pump (40 psi) for the injectors
The 1986 Ford Bronco II is equipped with a single fuel pump located inside the fuel tank. This electric fuel pump is responsible for supplying fuel from the tank to the engine. It is important to ensure that the pump is functioning properly for optimal engine performance.
It is set up one of two ways. There is a low pressure pump in the tank and a high pressure pump on the frame rail under the drivers door, or there is just one high pressure pump in the tank.

the connections are the splitring fuel connectors not sure what you are looking at... could be the reservoir, the "high" pressure fuel pump, and fuel filter. there is also a low pressure pump inside the tank
maybe the fuel pump is not supplying the fuel as it should check the fuel filter and the pump pressure or the air filter is clogged
bad ground or float stuck 2 possibilities i can think of
