My cigarette lighter on a 2000 Ford Ranger no longer works Purchased a replacement at Wal-Mart. However I can't get the assembly out of the dashboard. Anyone know a easy way of doing this.?
There are 2 bolts that are located right below the stereo in the dash. You can remove these bolts then you can pull out just that center section of the dash to get at the cigarette lighter and accessory plugs. Or at least that is how it is on my 2000 Ranger.
