To fix the horn on a Peugeot 106, first, check the fuse associated with the horn in the fuse box to see if it has blown. If the fuse is fine, inspect the horn itself, which is usually located behind the front grille; ensure it is securely connected and free of corrosion. If the horn is faulty, replace it with a new one. Finally, test the horn by pressing the steering wheel button to ensure it functions correctly.
To change the horn on a Peugeot 106, start by disconnecting the battery to prevent any electrical issues. Locate the horn, which is typically found in the front of the vehicle near the grille. Remove the mounting screws and disconnect the wiring harness from the old horn. Install the new horn by reversing the process, ensuring it’s securely fastened and properly connected before reconnecting the battery.
