behind the clutch pedal.
CHECK THE CLUTCH SWITCH TO SEE IF ITS FAULTY. MAKE MAKE A JUMPER WIRE TO SEE IT THAT'S THE PROBLEM. MAKE A JUMPER WIRE WITH AN INLINE 20 AMP FUSE. UNPLUG THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR TO THE CLUTCH SAFETY SWITCH. PUT THE JUMPER WIRE IN PLACE OF THE SWITCH. NOW PUT THE CLUTCH IN AND TRY TO START IT,IF IT STARTS THEN BUY A NEW SWITCH. THE CLUTCH SAFETY SWITCH IS UNDER THE DASH ABOVE THE PADDLE,LOOKS LIKE A LITTLE CYLINDER. GOOD LUCK
If the clutch switch failed then the car will not start unless the switch is bypassed. The purpose of a clutch safety switch is to prevent the car from dangerously starting, so when it malfunctions that car will not start without it switch off.

Type your answer here... oil pressure switch location
Almost at the top of the clutch lever underneath the dash (just below where the cable connects). It's brass in color (and looks somewhat like a CO2 cartrage) and has a lock nut on it to adjust the length of the switch... Difficult to reach.
Passenger side behind tire.
New battery needs a charge? Loose or corroded battery cable? Engine seized? Bad starter Bad starter solenoid? Bad neutral or clutch safety switch?
can we adjust the clutch on honda civic 1999
yes there is. it is located under neath the drivers instrument panel, at the top of the clutch pedal assembly. It has a 2 pin connector, one wire running to a ground, and the other wire running to the starter relay. the clutch pedal must be depressed to start the vehicle and allow the ignition to engage the starter.
