the maf should be located immidiately after the air cleaner box your can remove both hoses on each side to remove it. in short after the air cleaner bot you will see a hose with electric cable sticking in with a flat top on it that the one if you want to clean which i would recomend before replacing because the price is high for another one go to you autoparts store buy a CRC maf cleaner and spray into the maf after completely removing it from the car and dont spray too close leave a little of a distance so as not to knock out any sensitive components and dont wipe it down let it dry up and reinstall it that should probably clear the problem
