It's very difficult to get to, that's why they have the dashboard indicator with oil level on display at startup!
Its hidden underneath a load of pipework that is impossible to get to from above unless you have small hands and can feel round/down!
On my car, which is a 1996 Oasis RL (1.2 clio) the dipstick is located at the front of the engine near the radiator in the centre- right part of the engine. Hope this helps!!!
It is under the oil cap.
Try under the oil cap, oddly enough.
It's on the drivers side of the engine
The oil dipstick in a 2000 Nissan Xterra Se would be located under the hood of the car. It would be located on the right side of the car and have a yellow colored cap.
there is no dipstick u have 2 drain the oil or put ur finger in there to chk it to see if theres oil only cause its has a transfer case
Transmission fluid goes down the dipstick tube. The transmission dipstick not the oil dipstick. use a skinny funnel. do not over fill.
what spenner i need to chage oil in Renault clio
There is no Transfer case oil. Just Transmission oil and that goes in the dipstick tube after the dipstick is removed. if its a standard there is a plug on the side of the tranny underneat fill to plug level
Oil dipstick is in the regular spot for most cars trans. The catera did not come with one it is checked under the car
To read the dipstick on a 2000 SLK230 Mercedes, first ensure the engine is warm and turned off. Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean with a lint-free cloth, then reinsert it fully and remove it again to check the oil level. The oil level should be between the two marks or notches on the dipstick. If it’s below the minimum mark, add the appropriate oil type as specified in the owner’s manual.
you need to be double jointed its below the exhaust manifold
