To change the spark plug on a Honda Jazz, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the ignition coil or spark plug cover to access the spark plugs. Use a spark plug socket and ratchet to carefully unscrew the old spark plug, then install the new one by hand to avoid cross-threading, and tighten it to the manufacturer's specifications. Finally, reconnect the ignition coil and the battery terminal.

To check the ignition coil on a Honda Recon, start by disconnecting the spark plug wire and removing the spark plug. Use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the coil; consult the service manual for the specific resistance range for your model. If the resistance is outside the specified range or if there are signs of physical damage, the coil may need to be replaced. Additionally, you can check for proper spark by grounding the spark plug against the engine and cranking the engine to see if a spark is produced.
