To repair or replace a faulty wheel speed sensor in a 2000 Chrysler LHS, first, safely lift the vehicle and remove the wheel corresponding to the faulty sensor. Locate the sensor, which is usually mounted on the wheel hub or the brake assembly, and disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the sensor by unscrewing it from its mount, and install the new sensor by reversing the process, ensuring a secure connection. Finally, reassemble the wheel and lower the vehicle, checking for proper operation.
The Chrysler LHS comes standard with a speed proportional rack and pinion power steering assembly.
There isn't a single traction control sensor. The system uses the wheel speed sensors, at each wheel bearing, along with numerous other inputs.
There are two, one in each exhaust manifold.
