No sorry!
I have Nissan Serena japan import, right hand drive . Engine size is 1997 diesel automatic, 8 seat. The thermostat is under the driver seat. Lift the driver seat and you you will see the thick hose water coming from the engine and goes to the radiator, lower part. Where the pipe connects the engine there is the thermostat. It has 3 screws, remove them and remove the metal part and the thermostat is attached to the hole. Regards. GAL
Can adjust a self adjusting cable
In a Seat Ibiza, the thermostat is typically located within the engine compartment, specifically near the engine block, where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine. It is usually housed in a thermostat housing that can be mounted to the engine. For specific locations and access, it's best to consult the vehicle's service manual or a repair guide.

You need to replace your thermostat to get your temp gauge to work. You can go to a salvage yard and get a replacement seat belt.
