To get the spare tire off a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder you should insert the long rod into the hole in the trunk. Push the long rod down and turn it. Once it catches you can lower the tire down. The rod and tools that you need are under the back seat of your vehicle.
Salvage yard or Toyota dealer.
If the question is "How can I remove the spare tire from under the truck bed of my Ford Ranger?" , on my Ranger if you lower the tail gate you will see a hole in the middle of the bed. Insert the tire crank handle from the tire jack into the hole and crank away and the tire will unwind from a winch.
Go buy another one.
