Always connect the positive (RED) cable first.
connect the positive first, the negative. the negative cable doesnt spark as much
The negative cable is removed first, then the positive. To re-connect, the positive goes first, then the negative.
If you unhook the battery for an hour, when you re-connect the cable it should reset the computer.
disconnect the negative battery cable for 60 seconds then re-connect should do it
The best/easiest way is to pull the ground cable to the battery for 1 minute and re-connect.
It has been my experience when a battery sparks at the post, that the battery cable is loose and/or not making a good connection, causing the spark to jump from the cable to the post. You might want to clean the cable and post and re-connect the cable.
No, you can't clear codes on any vehicle by disconnecting the battery. Thet are stored in the ECM and are still there when you re-connect the battery.
dis-connect the negative battery cable for a few minutes then re-connect. this will re-set the service engine light but be forwarned , the light wwill come bacck on eventially if there is a problem!!!=
if by "reboot" you mean start the car.. uyo re connect the battery pos first then neg, then turn the key..
if you are reffering to service enging light disconnect negative battery cable for 30 seconds and re connect it
either something shorted in the computer when re-connecting, or your grammar implies that you are trying to start it with no battery...which obviously would mean you should first re-connect the battery
Disconnect the negative battery cable for around 3 minutes and re-connect it back. That's it.
