The box on your screen that indicates the location of your cursor is typically referred to as the "status bar" or "status line." It is usually located at the bottom of the screen in many applications and displays information such as the cursor position, file status, and other relevant data. In text editors, it may show the line and column number of the cursor's position.
It is shown in the Name Box, which is at the start of the Formula Bar.
just go to their wall and click in the box at the top of the screen and when you have your cursor in the box and start typing
In the upper right hand corner by the exit button there will be a little dash a box with another box behind it. Click the one with the 2 boxes. If it only gets a little bit smaller put your cursor at edge of your program and get it where there are two arrows on your cursor then drag it in to the middle of your screen.
The charm bar - is the vertical box that slides into view when you place your cursor at the bottom-right corner of your screen.

answer: Go to insert and hit text box, your cursor should look like a "+". Then you move the cursor to where you want your boxed text. Left click and "drag" your cursor in any direction. A box will appear, and the size will be determined by how far you dragged the cursor. When you have reached your desired box size, release the left mouse key. Then click inside the box and type what you would like.(:

To make your cursor turn into a vertical line (also known as an I-beam cursor) in a text box, simply place your mouse pointer over the text box where you want to type. The cursor will change automatically to the I-beam shape, indicating that you can start typing or select text. If you're using a touch device, tapping the text box will usually bring up the keyboard and place the cursor at that location.
